At the end of the game, we tied, and decided to head back to Hazel’s. We both tipped our caddies before we left. We arrived at Hazel’s house and the kids immediately came running when they saw us
“Daddy”, William screamed as he ran to give me a hug so did Zion
“How are you guys today” I asked as I picked each of them one after the other and swirled them
“We’re fine” they chorused
“Someone is getting better” I said to William and winked, and they burst out in laughter
“Hi Uncle Jacob”, Zion said to Jacob after he welcomed me and so did William
Uncle Jacob? Did he always call Jacob that or am I just noticing it now?
We all went inside to meet Hazel, who was focused on some work on her laptop.
“Mummy, look, Uncle Dunlop is here” Zion said, making her aware of my presence
