I arrived at BLC on time, as usual, parked my car and was about to head into the building when I was stopped by the security guy
“Ma’am, can I see your identity card please” the tall muscular guy asked
I looked up at him and quickly remembered that it was the card Dunlop gave to me yesterday. I dived my hand into my bag in search of it
Shit.
This wasn’t the bag I used yesterday, the bag I used yesterday was at home and so was the Id card
“Uhm, I don’t have it right now but I promise you that I work here” I pleaded, hoping he would consider it “I am this company’s assistant CEO”
"I have never heard of such, ma’am. Please step away from the door” he said
What did he mean he had never heard of such? Did Dunlop not inform the company about the new assistant CEO?
