After getting a call from Marcus ordering us to go to company to discuss some news. Damon and I were forced to leave Rae. Which was one of the f*****g hardest things iv had to do. So we went up in silence having come across them by random a few years ago. Taking a deep breath we stepped out of the elevator seeing everyone we froze. Mother sat at the head of the table with our prick of a brother Marcus sitting across from her at the other end with his stuck up mate Sophia next to him scowling. On the left side of the table sat Julien his mate Bethany, and luck with his mate Skye. The twins where trying to hid their smiles but I saw their mouths twitching and their mates where smiling at them without a care in the world. Stepping up to the table taking our seats “ what this about? Is Sophia getting booted off the island is that why Beth and Skye are so happy?” Damon aske with a wink I started pissing myself fighting while Beth and Skye tried to hide theirs laughs into Jules and Luke’s shoulders laughing quietly to themselves we all hated her. Mother and Marcus on the other hand didn’t find it funny at all. As we came into out Dragons at 16 not only did, we change but we also started growing into more powers as we grew. Like Reading each others’ thoughts which we all can do. But we also had different abilities. Devon could place and erase memories from mortals’ minds, which comes in handy when we get caught or almost caught doing something that a normal person could not possibly do. Damon can heal others not just himself. Which helped a lot when we could not control our anger living amongst the mortals. And me I can control the weather. So, when I fell like flying and clear my head, I just call for a thunderstorm and off I go. But only Jules and Luke knew about it and I am sure that they told theirs mates because as a mate you can never betray one another and have been sworn to secrecy. They also told us that in the prophecy said that when we were all mated and had clamed and been accepted by our mate, we will be gifted with another power but it didn’t say what it would be. “Marcus and I have asked you all here because he has discovered that our greatest enemy has not been destroyed.” Mother said looking at us all. “ What do you mean our greatest enemy you had said that this witch name Morgan was carrying our end but Marcus poisoned her and she died before she could give birth? Is their someone else? Was David was it? Did he get a second chance at a mate?, is that possible for their kind?” Julien asked looking at our mother Luke nodding along. “yes that is was we were lead to believe but that is not the case.” Mother said staring at Marcus flinching “ it appears I was mistaken mother I deeply apologize. But it appears that with her dying breath she gave birth to a child a girl. Who identity what have not yet been able to obtain. Julien, Luke we have all but a picture for you. You will need to find out all you can about her before she ascends on her 22nd birthday which if my calculations are correct will be on august 7 so we have less then a month to find her and destroy her before she because unstoppable and our live are at stake if she is anything like her father David.” Marcus said looking at the twins. “Of course, we will find her” Luke said looking at his brother Julien a look pass between their eyes. “did you see that? What are they hide we must ask them when we get out of here” I mind-linked Damon and Devon “of course brother they have never lied to us before” Damon replied Devon giving a slight nod in approval. “And as for you 3 once they have located this girl this nuisance you will be tasked with taking care of her prove yourself to the family.” Marcus said with disgust to us. “Of course dear brother anything for this perfect family” Devon said with so much sarcasm “ this isn’t a game Devon you will take what your brother asks of you seriously. Our very lives depend on it” our mother said. Handing over a file to each on the twins “we have no leads but we have reason to believe that this girl with David is his daughter the heir to the world biggest coven one who will unit them all. We don’t have a name or a location he can be hiding her anywhere waiting to use her once she ascends to her full power. You must find her and track down her location I want a detailed report I want to know when she eats sleeps I want to know when she pisses I want to know everything there is to know about her what her know powers are what she can do and I want it ASAP and then we will send the triplets in for the kill.” Marcus said looking at me “ is that understood Gabriel?” Marcus asked having a stare down with Marcus “we need to talk to Jules and Luke the second we leave they schooled their face after looking at the file but I saw something that passed through them and it doesn’t look good. “Damon said in my head with a slight nod as to not let Marcus know anything “ awe brother have we ever let you down?” I asked with a smile “ don’t worry about it mother we will protect the family cause Marcus clearly couldn’t get the job done are big bad brother” I said with a laugh “ ENOUGH! that is all you may leave Marcus stay behind with me will you” my mother said waving her hand to dismiss the rest of us. Without saying a work we all got up and went to the elevator we all piled in the with their mates as well no one said a word about the file because we all knew we were being watched and instead the girls stated chatting allowing us guys to talk about anything and everything to catch up not letting Marcus and mother know that we were being watched. Once we left the build we said our good bye. Before I could say anything “ Cafe on 8th now” Luke said hugging me goodbye. With a nod they climb into their cars and were off. “Gab we nee…” Devon started but I cut him off “its late why don’t we pick up some food before we go home” I said looking at them both nodding to the car. Catching on to what I meant “f**k ya I’m starving lets go” Damon said Climbing into his car waiting for us to follow. Once I knew we where out of ear shot “go to the café on 8th we are meeting them their” I said “what do you think this is all about, what do you think they know?” Devon asked “not a clue but we are about to find out. We will be there in less then10 minutes” Damon said pushing down on the gas peddle. With nothing else to do but wait. “Did you get Rae home before Marcus summonded you again?” I asked turning back to look at Devon “ya I did the prick interrupted my kiss goodnight, f**k that girl can really bring aman to his knees.” Devon said with a smirk “ that she can” Damon said “we need to figure out away to tell her shes out mate and fast I want to claim her, theres something about her but I don’t want to go another second without he being claimed.” Devon said Damon and I nodding in agreement. Looking u we were about to pull into the café. Seeing that Julies and Lukes cars where both parked outside I knew that the girl where their too so It had to be big. Getting out of the car we walked into the café.
