It took no more than a half an hour before Austin arrived—as promised—in order to take us home. By the time that he did arrive, Monica and I were already waiting outside, as she didn’t want to be in the police station after I had bailed her out. Considering the fact that she had been the one who had been stuck in a cell, it was something that I couldn’t blame her for.
But, something that triggered me slightly, was the fact that Colin pulled up behind Austin only a few moments afterwards.
