Once I was inside of the house, it became apparent to me that I wasn’t going to be able to make anything for dinner—why was this, you ask? Well, it was because I was the one who kept this household functioning, and since I had other things that had been keeping me distracted as of late, I hadn’t had any chance to do that as I normally would have. And Austin hadn’t been able to realize that, because he hadn’t been home in the first place. He didn’t realize that the milk was done, or that there hadn’t been any new groceries bought, because this is not where he eats his dinner. I took a deep breath, trying my very best not to get caught up in the hunger and frustration that I was feeling. I knew that I still had the opportunity to go and snap at Austin for not doing anything to contribute
