I entered my room with minimal voice. Dawn could be asleep. I didn't want to wake her up. I was way too late. Lauren and Gabriel wouldn't let me leave. It was not their fault. They were like second parents to me and I haven't met them for months. Diana's parents are my parent's friends. Their place is half an hour drive away from mine. Lauren made me dessert. I wasn't hungry at all but I didn't want to upset her.
