It started with a playful teasing.
"Happy One Month Anniversary!" He showed up with a box of chocolates. I thought it was a genuine present but turned out it had salt in place of sugar. I hit him on the shoulder.
"I hate you," I had said and turned to leave. He put his arms around me.
"I'm sorry I'm a bad chef," he laughed.
"You broke the universal law. You don't prank a girl with chocolate," I complained.
"Sorry," he kissed me on the cheek.
"Hmph," I pretended to be angry. He kissed me again on the cheek. I smiled. He kissed me several times. I started to laugh.
"I need to go," I told him.
I stepped forward to walk but I stumbled. He caught me. I had my arms around his neck to support myself. He had his, wrapped around my waist. I found myself staring into his eyes.
