In that instance, a rush of pain coursed throughout my entire body making me fall face first unto the cold ground of an opening in the forest. I heard the sickening sound of my bones breaking and clothes ripping. The sudden rush of pain caused a scream to come out of the darkest part of my being as more pain travelled throughout my body and my breathing came out harsh and elaborate. I heard quick steps come to a sudden stop before they retreated a bit.
I curled up into a ball as I felt the heat of my body incrementing by the second.
