"Ah, there she is." Luna Josephine gets up from her chair and smiles at me. My eyes were glued to the person sitting. When the blonde girl turned around, I couldn't help the smile on my face.
"Marilyn, what are you doing here?" I approach her and hugged her tight.
"She is our pack doctor's daughter. She always visits whenever she can."
I frown at Marilyn. "I knew your mother wasn't around but I didn't know she was-How far are we from our pack?"
Marilyn looks down at her clasp hands. "We are just across the river. This pack also attends our school. I only know this because my mother has continued to keep in touch with me."
I let go of her and look at Luna Josephine, who was giving me a knowing look.
"What else have you been hiding-"
"There she is! How are you little Mary?"
