“Choose.”
The voice echoed again inside Seraphina’s head.
Soft.
Ancient.
Female.
And terrifying.
Her knees weakened instantly as silver light flashed beneath her skin again. The burning mark near her hip pulsed violently, sending waves of pain through her body.
Dominic noticed first.
Of course he did.
His attention snapped away from Silas immediately.
“Seraphina.”
She grabbed her chest sharply.
“It hurts…”
The tension between the two Alphas vanished instantly as the power around her began spiraling out of control.
Silver energy cracked through the chamber walls.
The windows exploded outward.
Servants outside screamed.
Silas stared at her in shock.
“What the hell is happening to her?”
