"Josh, come over here and hand everyone a song book.", Mr. Santiago said pointing the books on the table infront of the stage for the people to use as a guide for singing praise songs. Josh got the books. Carrief them, having ten books per stack that he can handle. He was being very impatient as he was so ready to end the mass. He only wants to go there because his dad, Luke Santiago Jr. is a pastor. Afterall, he soes not want to be scolded and embarassed infront of his parents friends and relatives. He is young, about the age of twelve. With that age, he only wanted to play with his dog whom he beats badly when it does not stratle people who enter their house. Soon, he hears his dad say, "Let us all stand and pray for our Lord"s kindness, grace and love." He stands still. He was standing almost the whole time because he should look, act and sound like a pastor"s son. But he does not want to. He just knew he had to because he was told to by his dad. If only his mom was alive, he would probably be a spoiled child. His dad is too controlling with words. He never hurt him. But he was still mad. He is tired of everyday praises and church singing. As soon as everyone was out of the church, he was already free. But with the sharp eyes of his dad staring at him for his impolite behaviour, he calms down for a while and starts to act like he was supposed to be.
