REGAN'S POV.
She seemed to be in a daze when she returned to the room. Everything she did was done in a state of unconsciousness from changing into her sleeping cloths, to setting the pillows right, then lying far away from me like I could burn her with my touch to mumbling back a goodnight.
Was she affected by the kiss as much as I was? Did she feel it too? The sweet sensation? I couldn't help but stare at her back that was to me. I was grateful she wanted to stay far away from me. I didn't trust my self control to last through the night.
