While I was upstairs in my room, I heard the door open and closed. I swear it was a rickety thing. Plus, my old bedroom was right next to the stairs. Which made it easier to sneak in and out when the door was the heavy oak. Not that I ever snuck out. I was a good girl. I called down to my mom to find out who it was. “Mom, who came in the door?
