I’ve given belle my number and drop called myself, just incase she chickens out. We say goodbye and I leave although I could have stood and chatted for hours max was restless and needed to break out for a while. We run back over the boarder and max breaks out. We run and run whilst thinking about belle. I bump into another wolf, he is familiar. Almost at the same time we both shift back into our human forms! “Stefan!” We fist bump! Stefan is training to be my second in command when I take over as alpha.
“Alex man, how is the search going?” He asks enthusiastically.
“Erm I think I’ve found her. “
“Think?” Stefan asked.
“Well she is the most beautiful she wolf I’ve ever laid eyes on, she smells amazing” I sigh
“And??” Stefan losing his patients.
“She isn’t of age yet, I’ve got 4 more day’s. It’s torture!!” Stefan stars laughing a deep belly laugh, although I’m pissed off by his reaction I find myself laughing too!
“Of Alex, over a year, I think you can survive another 4 days man!” He starts laughing again. I punch him catching him of guard he stumbles. Now I’m laughing, he however doesn’t look amused now.
“I’ll get you back for that Alex!”
“Don’t make promises you can’t keep” I winked back. Bzzz bzzz I’ve got a message.
I say my goodbyes to stefan and pull my phone out. It’s belle. ‘Hey Alex, it’s belle’ I type back quickly ‘hey belle, are you ok?’
A few messages go back and forth and then belle gives me the details for her birthday party. Hmmm let’s see ‘perfect, I can’t wait to see you ;)’ haha I snuck the wink in. blue moon hotel? I’ll have to find out where that is. I Best Buy a suit too, sounds posh! I’ll get one tomorrow. I shift back into max and we run around with this sense of excitement and hope rolled into one. There certainly is a spring in my step.
