Where am I?
I wake up and first thing I see is a bright light. I blink a few times as my eyes adjust to the light. I hear a soft snoring sound and turn to see who it’s coming from. Alex is sleeping next to me, so peacefully, he is holding my hand in his. He looks slightly tormented in his sleep. I try to sit myself up but fail waking Alex up.
“Belle, how are you feeling my queen?” Alex helps me sit up and then sits next to me on the bed.
“I’m ok Alex, not in much pain but tired still” I reply. Alex pulls me into his chest and kissed me on the forehead. I feel his emotions deep through his kiss.
“Belle, I was so scared today, running to the hospital not knowing what or who hurt you, I didn’t know if you would live and it tore my heart out!” I could hear Alex crying. This made me cry
