Finally we are back where we belong. I rested against Alex’s chest the whole way home drifting in and out of sleep. I needed to be close to him, to hear his heart beating. I need this man. Damn, when did I become so needy? Marie found this though funny. I’m too tired to argue with her.
“Mum I need to get belle back to bed, she needs to rest” alex spoke to his parents who were eager to see us return.
Alex’s mum pulled me in for a hug.
“I’m glad your feeling better belle. Get some rest, if I can do anything please let me know” I nodded and Alex led me to our bedroom.
