Eli had been stunned by the outcome, he attempted to move, but his body would not budge. He followed Tory’s silhouette with a twinkle in his eyes. Tory had outsmarted Eli, but his interest only intensified further. He was soon revived from his deep slumber by the sound of his phone. As he gently rubbed his forehead, he noted his sister calling. Tory was almost out of mind as he reached for his phone, but his thoughts pulled him back as he heard the elevator doors close behind Tory.
“You are sneaky, Katiana?” he said with a grin on his face.
“Well, hello to you,” she giggled. “And you will have to be more specific.”
“Why do you insist on this ball?”
“Oh, that, damn, she’s fast.”
“Kat!” He roared.
