The lights seemed to flicker as figures floated around Eli, hurting his eyes as he stared into them. The voices around him meshed with one another, unable to make sense of the words that were spoken. Frankly, Eli hardly cared to remain informed about the activity around him. “Eli?” A voice said in the distance but only pushed it out. He continued to stare into the distance until his vision connected with the wall.
