This had not been the first time Tory had been challenged by someone who believed she had more value than her. Had she displayed a hint of fear in her eyes, she knew he would never have desisted from attacking her. She did not understand why he was so adamant about his attack. What she did know was she could not afford to lose her composure. Giving in to Eli would mean the beginning of the end. Though she was slightly startled by his comment, she showed no emotion. She believed Eli would confuse it for weakness and would take the opportunity for another shot. She would be damned if she allowed that to happen.
“I have reviewed all the onboarding documents.” She took a deep breath before providing a warm smile. “It does not deny the use of supplies not provided by the company.”
