It is mid term which means Dan will home for a week and due to his transfers to another private school, it might take him a while to resume. Not lie, but Gabriel really hates the idea of Dan staying at home alone. It is risky indeed and their nana had traveled, they had no choice than to warn him to stay at home. With the little pay Claire was getting from her work place, she used it to enroll Jay in a school, play class to be precise. And it has started taking a toll on the boy as he has started improving. Jay has started to utter some words, even though they are incoherent but it was still an achievement. Gabriel knew he was been favored by the Lord, because the way his life had changed overnight was not something he would joke about. He has never in his life imagined he would get a work and even to the extend that he would have a huge pay plus bonuses when he makes good works. Indeed, life is good when it is found you and he believed that. Today, he had asked his boss if he could come with Dan to work and his boss instantly agreed. He made sure to ask Claire to pack food for Dan even though the cafeteria will provide for that but he wants Dan to have some homemade food, as he is still a child. Together with Dan, they walked down to the bus stop. And in less than a minute, the box arrived which Dan and Gabriel got in. In the bus, Gabriel kept watching Dan, Dan's head was snucked out the window as he watched the area they'd passed. He smiled. He couldn't explain how happy Dan seems about him following him to his work place. Dan could not sleep last night as he kept on researching on the phone his father had gotten him. Soon they arrived at the work place, and they dropped off. They walked hand in hand, they entered the company. Dan did almost exactly what his father did, it was nice of him as the workers smiled back at them. Just like father like son. They both looked alike and even Jay looked a little bit or more of Gabriel which always make Claire jealous because she claims that all the kids looks like their father. It always makes Gabriel laugh because it was a lame reason for her to be jealous or angry at him. He need nothing wrong, only his gene flows in the kids nothing more, he would always tell her when she talks about how the kids looks like their father, him. Finally they reached his office, and Dan watched in awe. It was big, no it was huge. Even his school indoor basketball court was not as big as that. "Is this your office daddy?" He questioned still in awe and Gabriel nodded at him. "Wow." Dan whispered. Gabriel gave him a seat and also gave him a warning not to utter anything. He has no energy to keep telling him to keep quiet that day because his boss has given him a new project and had asked him to urgently work on it. It is almost done with it. Yes, it was not easy but he tried to meet his deadlines, soon the company will host an examination for temporary employees to become permanent employees which he is looking forward too. It is his only hope to make it to the top in the company or he would only be able to work for a few years before he will fired since he is not a permanent worker of the company. "The CEO requested to see you Mr. James. You can go with your child." The boss instructed. "She likes kids." He added and Gabriel could only muttered back a yes to him before he dragged a little bit by the hand and headed for the CEO's office. On the way, he kept on thinking. Was he to introduce Dan to her as his child or his adopt child or as his sibling? Without saying anything, he greeted the secretary as he reached the office. "Good morning, I am here to see Miss Rebecca." Gabriel said immediately. "Yes she is expecting you." The secretary replied and he knocked on the giant oat door before he heard her voice telling him to come in. He entered to the office with Dan trailing behind him. He was offered a seat which he almost took and asked Dan to share that one with him. "Is this your brother?" She questioned. "No maam he is my son." He blurted. And she kept quiet, instead she continued to face the files on her desk. Finding words to remember what she had wished to tell him. — The thing that made Gabriel happy was the way his boss and Dan had got to know each other fast. It was as if they had known each other for years with the way that they were playing and talking. When he was done, he called Dan to follow him back to his office but his boss said to leave him there. As she said, she loves kids and will like to be with him until the day ends. Gabriel was a bit happy because he will rest and then continue his works before the days end, he doesn't have to be worried about Dan or anything, but then at the same thing, he is not sure of what will happen when his coworkers hear or see Dan with their boss. Their opinions will never matter for the boss, but for him and the safety of his child, he doesn't want to leave him. After a lot of persuasion from his boss, Rebecca, he turned on his heels, leaving Dan with her and hoping that the young bloke won't cause her any troubles. He went straight to his office, meeting the rest gone for a mini break due to the amount of workload given to each every one of them. Sometimes, all he prayed for is to be able to pull it off.
