That day, Rebecca stayed up all night thinking of a way to make sure Tyler failed at whatever he is playing at. She might be slow witted but never will she said she didn’t see the way his eyes beamed when she offered the contract. Indeed something is happening over their company and she needs someone to tell them off. If not, she might lose it. But wait, she had remembered that Sophia had mentioned something about knowing most of the business owners in New York due to the nature of her work. She quickly added a reminder to call her first thing in the morning, Sophia will definitely be off help.  Finally, been at rest she closed her eyes and let the darkness engulfed her. That night she had a dream with Gabriel, she wondered why but it did happened and she would kill to have that type of dream again. The sunlight beamed through the window. Light spilled between the curtains, shards of sunlight like broken glass projected out of the windows illuminating the room. Rebecca closed her eyes tighter while she groans, trying to elongate the darkness for sometimes more as the morning light danced around her bed loudly in circles. She uncovers her body from the bed finally. She made her way to the bathroom to have a refreshing bath. Her body aches from the way she had slept.  After having her refreshing bath, she came out clad in a white shirt with a blue office jeans to pair with it. She packed her hair into a ponytail before she went down the stairs to have her breakfast. Unlike any other lady, Rebecca prefers to have something heavy as her breakfast. She hardly eats lunch hence the reason why she eats heavy breakfast. She has been warned countless times about it but she paid no heed to it. She will do what she dim fits.  Sitting in the dining table, she fished out her phone to send Sophia a message. It has been on her mind to do as she has said since the last night and she would only be rest assured when she had send her the message. Trays of food were arranged on the table while she typed away on her personal phone. She has two phones due to business and always made sure to turn off her business phone as the sun sets. Apple pie, steaks and burrito were perfect arranged on the table. The chef came back holding a jug heater and a tea cup. She will definitely not missed taking her morning teas. Just as she always does, she served all the food in different plates and urging her chef to mix in the coffee. Coffee helps her gets her sanity back and besides that, it doesn’t make her sleepy through out the day. She chewed down her food in a happy mood, she has an almost free schedule today hence she will spend it with new friend, Sophia. Actually she does not consider Sophia as her new friend again, rather Sophia had earned a place in her heart making her to be one of her friends. She has lot of friends but they are after the benefits of what their friendship will get. She hardly call them unless they have a reunion or meets at a ball. She hates fake people and fake vibes. Done with her food, she called in her chef and the Senegalese man entered the dining area with a lunch box at hand. Even though he knows his boss hardly eats the foods he packs for her, he still does that everyday to show her his appreciation of what she had done to him. Without her help, he would have been dead by then but she saved him from his debt and became his family. He could not repay her for she has done much for him. “Oh Assane, you should have not.” She said, getting her things off the table. She wiped the stain of the steaks off her mouth before she uttered him a thank you afterwards. Assane walked her out the garage. Her driver was yet to come, no she had asked him to meet her by the office. Settling the car, she revved it to life and drove out the city of New York. Going through her playlist, she played Are You That Somebody by Aaliyah. She has a thing for black musicians. Peeking at her rear mirror, she sighted a new car was tailing her. It wasn’t any of her father’s car and he had dead down with the issues as the week has passed.  Her mind drifted to Tyler, he would be the only one to be on her tail. Even when she had parked in the office underground parking lot, the car was still behind her and had parked without coming out. She hurriedly walked to the elevator that leads to the first floor where will get the reports for the last night herself and also tell them that she is expecting a visitor.  The elevator door opened again, Gabriel entered and she heaved a sigh she didn’t she was holding it. “It was you.” She said smiling. He flashed her a smile before he nodded his head. Throughout the ride, they were all in their thoughts. Rebecca wondered how someone could be so perfect as Gabriel was, she had never seen someone as intelligent as he was. She will silently raise his salary because since the day he had joined the company, the ratings was increasing day by day. “Morning ma’am.” Were the greetings she’d received wherever she passes and she always replied with a nod, then a smile will follow it. She reached the front desk and met Clara on the office phone. She silently waited for her to finished her calls as she patiently tap her fingers on the desk. “Good morning ma’am”Clara greeted. “Morning Miss Clara.” Rebecca greeted back. Clara kept mute, not knowing what to say next. “I need the reports that was dropped here for me and also I will expect a guest later. Her name is Sophia.” She informed, as Clara moved to get her the report folder. “Yes ma’am.” Clara answered back.  Rebecca retreated to her office. She was already tired by standing that way, Thank Goodness she was wearing an office jeans or else, she might have suffered the consequences that day. Reaching her office, she unbuttoned the first two buttons before opening the curtains using the remote control. Her PA later entered the office with a cup of cappuccino. “Thank you.” She uttered as he dropped the cup in front of her. She took a sip of it and turned to face him. “Your schedule has been cleared as you have no meeting today. The page has sent back the contract with highlights of things they want to rectify.” He informed as he dropped a folder in front of her. “Thank you.” She said.  She twirled on her seat, enjoying the view ahead of her. She was free for the day and would love to stay indoor but then she had to go through the reports. She was planning of getting a branch of the SxE Corp in any country that suits her. Her father had no say in it as the company was under her care. All she needs to do is make everything perfect and also make sure the shareholders accept the idea. Heck, they would. They would be the ones benefiting. Time has passed and without her knowing, it was noon. She sighed as she moved to the chair to stretch out a little bit. She has been bending while she went over the blue prints of the new branch she had signed for be opened in the other side of the country. A gentle knock came on the door and her secretary entered. “You have a guest ma’am.” Behold, behind her was Sophia. Rebecca let out a squeal before she moved out to hug in Sophia. Seeing how happy they were, the secretary silently left the office. She later came back with a tray of goodies and a juice. “Is your secretary taken?” Sophia asked as they both watched her retreating figure. Rebecca furred her brows. She had totally forgotten that Sophia was a lesbian or rather bi, she believed. “The last time I heard she broke up with her girlfriend and she is a lesbian.” Rebecca informed. “Then you don’t mind me hitting on her right?” She questioned with a smile. Rebecca nodded at her question before she took a sip of her juice. They got caught in their talks of the world before Rebecca remembered the real reason why she had asked for her in the office. “Do you remember knowing any Tyler Page?  “I think I have heard the name somewhere but I can’t say.” Sophia replied. “Well I have a job for you, it requires you going undercover my love.” She informed and Sophia squealed.
