Date Night

      The rest of the school day went by fast and now I am back at my place working on some school work before I have to get ready for work. It didn't take me that long to get everything done that I needed to, when I was finished I went into my room to get ready for work. Luckily for me my shift is a short one today, and I can't wait to see Gio after work. I couldn't help but think about my sexy mate, how his body feels against mine, oh god and his voice. Most of which were regulars, I took orders and made conversation with my favorite regulars. On my last hour on shift I walked over to the table where two obviously drunk guys were sitting. I put on a smile and asked, "Hey there guys, can I get you anything else?" They looked up at me with their glassy eyes, one of them was blond and the other had curly black hair. The blond one smiled at me and said, "Yeah sweetheart can we get an order of hot wings." I guess he was trying to look seductive but it looked more like he was constipated. I refrained from rolling my eyes and just faked a smile before saying, "Okay, I'll put your order in and it should be out shortly." Then I turned and walked away to put in their order, I usually didn't like to deal with drunk costumers but I guess those guys weren't too bad, at least not yet. 

     Their order was up and ready a few minutes later so I grabbed it and took it over to their table, I set it down in front of them and said, "Okay guys, let me know if you need anything else." They just nodded at me too interested in their food to respond. I just shrugged my shoulders and walked away, the rest of my shift went by quickly and before I knew it it was time to clock out. I went to my locker to get my purse then said goodbye to a few people before leaving. I got home by 8:30 leaving me just enough time to get ready for my date with Gio. He said to wear a dress so I went to my closet in search of a dress, after a few minutes I decided on a cute knee length dusty rose colored swing dress. I paired the dress with nude ankle boots and black cross body purse. I curled my hair and put on a light layer of makeup, gold eye-shadow, bronzer and coral tinted chap-stick. As a final touch I used just a bit of floral scented perfume, I took a look at myself in my floor length mirror and I looked pretty damn good. Not too formal but not casual either, which is just what I was going for. I looked at the clock and smiled, just a few minutes until 9pm Gio should be here  any minute. At exactly 9pm there was a knock on my door, excitement and nervousness bubbled up inside of me as I went to open the door.

    I  walked into my office and took a seat at my desk, a few minutes later my secretary Jenny brought me my coffee and I started to work on some paper work. I made a few business calls to check on some things before Jenny called me to let me know I had a meeting with one of our most important clients. I have known Mitchel Carlson for about 15 years, we have worked together for the last five years. He is a decent guy and hard working too, he is also a warlock  and his mate Naomi is a nymph. I went over to the meeting room we would be using to wait for Mitchel. I got everything ready and ten minutes later Jenny led Mitchel in. I stood up to shake his hand, "Mitchel it's always good to see you, how's life?" He smiled at me and responded, "Life is good, it's good to see you too." We took a seat and I asked, "How is Naomi, I'm surprised you didn't bring her this time. I know you  two hate to be separated." He laughed before saying, "I actually did bring her, she is back at the hotel sleeping. She has been really tired lately since she is pregnant." I smiled and said, "That's amazing, congratulations man. How far along is she?" He leaned back in his seat before replying, "She is about five and a half months along, so what's new with you?"  I sat up straighter in my chair and said, "Well I found my mate." 

    He punched me in the arm and said, "That's great, tell me about her." I smiled just thinking about my gorgeous mate. "Well her name is Arabella, she is a witch and she is 19 and in college." He laughed and said, "You got a young one, you gonna be able to keep up with her?"  I laughed at that and responded, "Oh I don't think that will be a problem." We talked a bit longer about our lives before getting down to business. The meeting ended about an hour later then I walked Mitchel out after we said our goodbyes, I went back to my office and ordered my lunch from a pretty good Chinese place down the street. As I was waiting for my order to arrive my mind wandered to my mate, I can't wait for our date tonight. I have a friend who owns an indoor ice skating rink and I was able to rent it out for just the two of us and we would be having dinner after. Fifteen minutes later Jenny came in with my food, I thanked her before dismissing her. I sat down at my desk to eat, after lunch the rest of the day flew by and before I knew it it was time to go home. I grabbed my jacket and went out to the parking lot to my car, traffic wasn't so bad today I made it home by 5:30. I had a few hours to kill before I have to pick Arabella up for our date so I decided to watch some tv for a bit. 

   I turned on the tv and opened Netflix, I decided to watch Republic of Doyle. It's a pretty funny show and a good way to pass the time. I watched a couple episodes before going upstairs to take a shower and get ready. I turned on the shower and stripped out of my clothes while I waited for it to get to the right temperature. When it was right I jumped in and closed the shower door behind me, I grabbed my shampoo and massaged it onto my scalp. Then I rinsed it out before applying conditioner, after rinsing that out I grabbed my body wash and scrubbed myself down. I let the water wash away all the bubbles before turning off the shower and drying off. I went to my closet to choose my outfit for the night, after going through all my clothes I decided on dark jeans, black boots, a white tank top and dark blue button up shirt. I applied a bit of cologne and made sure my hair looked presentable, I checked the clock and saw it was 8:30 I have half an hour before I had to be at Arabella's place. I decided to stop somewhere to get gas before picking her up so I grabbed my jacket and went to the nearest gas station. I filled up the tank before driving to Arabella's. 

           (Arabella Pov)

    I pulled my door open and smiled up at Gio, damn he looks good tonight. I mean he always looks good but tonight he looks sexy ass hell. He smiled back down at me and said, "You look beautiful, you ready to go?" He held out his hand for me and I took it in mine before responding, "I'm ready." He led me over to his car and opened the door for me before going over to the drivers side and getting in. I looked over at him and asked, "So, where are we  going?" He just smiled and said, "It's a surprise." I am a very curious person so surprises aren't really my favorite but he looked so excited and happy so I decided to just let it go and be surprised. He turned on the radio to one of my favorite stations before taking my hand in his and driving with one hand. After awhile we pulled in front of a big building with a sign that said Rocking Ice Skating Rink. It had been a long time since I've been ice skating so I was very excited, I looked over at Gio and smiled at him. He smiled back at me before bending down to kiss me, I put my arms around his neck and kissed him back. We kissed for a few minutes then he pulled away and came around to my side to open the door for me. He held my hand as he led me to the entrance, he knocked on the door and a few seconds later the door opened and a tall blond man with brown eyes stood in the doorway. 

   Gio shook his hand and said, "Thanks for doing this for me man." The blond guy smiled and said, "No problem, how could I say no to a friend especially when he is just trying to show his mate a good time." He looked over and me and said, "Hi, my name is Caleb. It's nice to meet you Arabella." He held out his hand to me, I shook his hand and replied, "It's nice to meet you too." He smiled before turning back to Gio and saying, "Okay, you two have fun. Just remember to lock up when you leave." Gio nodded and said, "No worries, I won't forget." Caleb waved before leaving, Gio led me into the building and locked the door behind us. We went over to the racks with the ice skates and found our sizes before taking our shoes off and putting the skates on. There was romantic music playing from the speakers and the lights were dimmed but still bright enough to see. We went out onto the ice and he took my hand again, I had to admit he was a pretty good ice skater. We skated around the rink, hand in hand as the music played and the lights shone down on us. 

  I looked up at him and said, "You are pretty good at this, I'm guessing this isn't your first time ice skating." He chuckled and replied, "I've been a few times when I was younger, how about you?" I smiled up at him before replying, "I went a couple times in high school with friends." We skated and played around for awhile before Gio asked, "You ready to go get something to eat?" I nodded and said, "Sure, sounds good." We got off the ice and changed back into our shoes, Gio turned the music off then we walked towards the exit. Gio turned the lights off before locking the door behind us as we left, we go into the car and Gio pulled out of the parking lot. We drove for awhile before pulling up to 24 hour diner, we parked and he came around to my side to open my door for me then he took my hand and led me inside the diner. We were greeted by the hostess, who's name was Darlene. She led us to our table and took our drink orders as we decided what we wanted to eat.

    I was sitting across from Arabella in the diner and I just couldn't take my eyes off her, she is just so beautiful. We put in our drink orders and Arabella was looking through her menu and the way the light shone down on her made it look like she was glowing. With much effort I was able to tear my eyes off of her and looked at my menu. A couple minutes later our waitress came over to take our orders and deliver our drinks. Arabella decided on grilled salmon and red skinned potatoes, I ordered steak and shrimp with loaded mashed potatoes. Our waitress left to put our order in, I looked back over at Arabella and asked, "Are you having a good time tonight?" She smiled up at me and responded, "I am, I've never really been on a date before but so far it has exceeded my expectations." Her comment made me swell up with pride, I smiled back at her and said, "I'm glad you are having a good time, I want to make you happy." She grabbed my hand over the table and said, "You do make me happy, just being around you makes me happy." 

  It took all my restraint not to grab her and make love to her on the table in front of everyone, I took a deep breath and buried my lust for now so we can get through the rest of dinner without me jumping her. We continued to eat while making small talk, when we finished with our food I asked, "Do you want to get dessert, or do you wanna just head back to my place?" She thought about it for a second before saying, "Let's head back to your place." I smiled, I was hoping she would say that. I paid our bill then we got back in my car and I drove us back to my house. I parked the car then went around to open Arabella's door for her, I took her hand and we walked inside together.
