Natasha's POV
Finally the day of my wedding came. And I've been praying it doesn't. I'm just questioning everything. Why am I even doing this? Just so many unanswered questions lingering in my mind.
Maybe if I had my wolf things wouldn't be so complicated. I never paid mind to the fact that I still haven't shifted yet. I supposed to have shifted years ago, but somehow I way past that dead line. And it never bothered me, but now I think I see the reason why I need my wolf.
Our wolves are our voice of reason. At least I know many things would have been explained. I would have someone to explain to me whether I'm making the right decisions or not. But without her, it's very hard to tell.
Especially when I don't know who to trust, and who to avoid. Who's the wolf clothing in sheep skin?
And I still don't understand why would the Alpha agree to this. I would think an Alpha is smart enough to marry a stranger he's never met before. Couldn't he just refuse? Does he trust his father that much?
Or maybe they have him on the strings. He always listens to what the old man have to say. But then — why is he even the Alpha.
Clearly that proves he's not ready if he can't even make his own decisions.
And what are they up to? Why would they make him marry a girl like me. A wolfless rogue? That doesn't make sense. Which Alpha would agree to that?
On his side that is almost a disgrace. Surely that would destroy his reputation if people knew about this. Wouldn't they see him as weak? Isn't that threatening his position?
I wonder what kind of game they are playing here. And if we're on the winning or losing side.
But that's what I have to find out. Especially about Ethan. Is he a person I should keep my distance from? Or should I gain his trust?
“ Are you guys finished?" Lisa pokes her head on the room.
“Almost," the girl fixing my head answers.
“Hurry. The groom has arrived. And he's being veeery impatient," she reports before closing the door again.
'Is that good impatience or bad impatience?' I wonder to myself.
Soon the girl fixing my hair is finished. And I'm wanting to believe I'm ready, even though I'm hundred percent sure I'm not.
I give my self a final look in the mirror. Scanning the beautiful white gown. I've chosen to go with a mermaid gown. I place the veil on my head and sucked the longest breath.
“You look like an actual angel," Lisa jumps with joy as she sees me walking out. Her and the rest of the bridesmaids already waiting inside. In cute baby pink tea-lengh dress.
“Please I wanna get this over with," I mumble as I walk their direction. They help carry the dress as it was sweeping the ground.
" Well you can at least try to look happy, “ she says.
" Why? “ I cry.
" Trust me you'll understand why when you meet the groom. And we already have enough negatives for people to gossip, “ she states. If I roll my eyes anymore, surely they will just fall out.

So soon, my worst nightmare is unfolding before my eyes. I'm walking down the aisle ready to experience my own wedding. All eyes on me, and and I wish I could disappear.
Whispers burst around the whole room, of course they notice what I am. And sure enough they were not aware.
Only if this was not a wedding, I'd be shredded into pieces.
The energy of negativity falls on me, that I want to turn back and run away. The tension so thick you could cut it with a knife.
As I remember Lisa's words in my head. ' Don't be scared. I'm here with you. And everything is going to be fine. Trust me.' ' Just breath.'
Should I?
Because I can see the man I'm supposed to marry. Behind the veil, he doesn't look satisfied. If it were possible my head would have exploded with the death glares.
This is the kind of impatience I was worried about. He's not happy to see me. Actually it only seem to anger him. So much that it's not hard to notice his friend helplessly trying to calm down.
Even though I hear nothing, their body language says a lot. Whatever they are mind linking about, it's not a good argument.
Did they not tell him about this? Did he not know I was a rogue?
Now it all makes sense. These people don't care about him. They are doing this to mess with him. They are not his friends, certainly they are not mine either.
Poor Ethan. I understand why he's so angry.
But why? What do they stand to gain from all this. Why are they sabotaging him?
Does Lisa know about this? Why would she agree to something like this? Is this a part of the plan?
Maybe after all Ethan doesn't have anger issues. Maybe it's just the people in his life trying to push his buttons. And I would like to know, what do they stand to gain from it.
The distance is closing. And it feels I'm walking closer to a ticking time bomb. And I don't want to know what happens when it reaches zero.
He might be walking away with a head only, and I'm afraid it might be mine.
I'm I really this desperate to sabotage this man? Somehow this just doesn't feel good.
Finally I'm helped up the alter where direct with the devil himself. The fire burning in his eyes is enough to burn me alive. His anger is suffocating behind the expensive, ready to come and devour everything it touches.
Why did I even agree to do this?
“ Everyone if we would please settle down!" The man who is supposed to wed us announces. “ You're all gathered here to witness the union of our beautiful bride Natasha Mora and groom Ethan Santos, “ he continues. With a long terrible speech I could hardly hear because I'm so uncomfortable. The way my future husband to be is looking at me just makes me want to melt away. His anger is intoxicating that's it's hard to focus on anything else but it. Brooding inviting energy.
His obsidian jaws clenched tight as his piercing sea rover-blue eyes study, reading me intensely.
And I'm sure he could tear my head of looking at his physique. A giant man stand in front of me with spartan muscles. Ironclad muscles suffocating behind the well tailored suit.
“... Ethan Santos, do you take this woman to be your wife, to live together in matrimony, to love her, to honor her, to comfort her, and to keep her in sickness and in health, forsaking all others, for as long as you both shall live?" finally the vows came.
" Yes whatever,"hu grumbles taking the ring and put it on my hand. Why am I allowing this to happen. I should be screaming no.
" Natasha Mora, do you take this woman to be your wife, to live together in matrimony, to love her, to honor her, to comfort her, and to keep her in sickness and in health, forsaking all others, for as long as you both shall live?" The question finally comes to me. So I do this? Should I agree? The silence in the room is overwhelming. All waiting for this very moment.
All wondering the same thing. Is this really happening?
The groom looking at me with so much impatience.
" You don't really want to waste my time, “ he voice comes out dangerously low.
" I- I ... I do “
