'Hi' she greeted but the boy ignored her as he turned to his father who watched the two of them.'ryan meet alia your stepmother. alia meet my son, ryan' "nice to meet you".Still he didn't talk to her and kept his eyes on his father.'maybe he is dumb' she thought but the boy proved her wrong by saying to his father 'whatever' 'wow, this boy is rude' she murmured to herself. Raymond didn't respond as he left to his room. As soon as Raymond left, Ryan raised his head and said" Don't ever think i will accept you! You better stay in your lane and Don't try to act as if you are my mom cos you will never be!".

With that he left making her wonder about what just happened she couldn't believe that a nine year old just spoke to her rudely,not even her fifteen year old brother would try it with her and would go scot free,she wanted to drag him back and spank him so hard that he cries. She knew she wouldn't dare for the fear of his father who might have her arrested for child abuse. wiping of the thought of been locked up in jail, she pinched herself. Suddenly a voice came " Ma'am, master asked me to take you to your room" " Where is he?! "she asked the maid who looked really fragile. "He is in his study room and specifically told us not to disturb him!" "eh m.... ok. where exactly is the room? " "this way ma'am" the maid said and led her to a big magnificent room which was times 100 of her little rat house. It was decorated beautifully and she couldn't stop herself from saying " wow"

" I shall take my leave now ma'am. you can send for me by ringing this bell if you need anything" " ok" .As the maid bowed and left, Alia went to the window and opened it." Ma'am? me a madam. who would think that a lowlife would get married to someone wealthy" She thought.After thinking about it she decided to take it off her her mind. The she remembered her parents and little brother, 'I wish you were all here' she said and yawned .'Though i am hungry,it looks like it time for me to go to bed....!'she said and laid on the bed. the bed was extremely soft and she went asleep almost immediately . After she slept off, Raymond came into the room. He wanted to discuss something with her but upon seeing she was asleep, he adjusted the duvet around her body, turned off the lights and went to his room wondering whether hi plans were going to work.

As she moved down the stairs, a familiar scent mint went into her nostrils. She went to the dinning and saw father and son eating.' g.. good morning' she greeted but only Raymond answered with a nod. He sat at the edge of the table and his son was adjacent to him. not wanting to embarrass herself .She sat down quietly and was served breakfast by a maid who was standing behind Ryan all along. As she saw the food, she became very hungry. She didn't have dinner last night so she was very hungry. But she quickly composed her self.she muttered a thanks to the maid as she grabbed the cutleries. she wondered how she was to use fork and knife along with spoon. she wasn't used to it but tried.Sensing that she wasn't comfortable, Raymond signaled to the maid who came,helped her and left .Alia 's cheeks began to heat as she felt ashamed of herself. They all ate in silence for about three minute before Raymond asked 'why are you still wearing the dress you wore yesterday?' and ryan giggled making her irritated a little . 'i... i didnt bring any of my things along with me'.she stammered. She doesn't stammer so why now.'uhm! take this buy any thing you want and pay for it with this card. If you want to go to the mall ,the driver will take you ' He said as he handed over a gold credit card to her. She was stunned and couldn't talk.'I..i could just go and pack my things!' ' uhm... ryan be fast ,you don't want to be late for school !' He said to Ryan who didn't seem to be listening because he was busy with his i-pad. "i am talking to you!" Raymond yellled and ryan nodded as he dropped the i-pad and concentrated on his food. It was the first time she heard Raymond yelling and she shivered with fear.

When Raymond was done with his breakfast, he left without a word. Seeing that it was a right opportunity for her to get acquainted with her new son, she asked 'want any help? ' .Ryan raised his head and said 'if i wanted one, i won't turn to you!' 'You better watch your mouth' What if i don't?' 'What did i do that you dont want to talk to me? '

She took the credit card and went to her room.
