Melissa and the others rested against the car, and for the first few minutes, they said nothing before Richard finally spoke. "Do you really think setting aside the Kingdom's issue for a subject to sort out their own personal issue is the best way to go?" he asked, but upon seeing Melissa's raised eyebrow, he continued. "Don't get me wrong, I understand it from a good human view, but as a leader…?" he looked at her with concern. "You might need to be a little more… ruthless." Melissa nodded. "I understand your concern, but Dreykov told me something before he passed. In fact it was the day before he passed," she said, pausing a bit as a wave of nostalgia hit her. "He said a home is as good as its members, a kingdom as good as its people. A pack will always be about each individual wolf."
