“Is there no medicine that can cure the pain?” Dave asked in a frustrated tone.
Edith and Sam glanced at him with different gazes. Both of them hoped that such a cure existed, but even after the examination, they were only asked to wait.
Sam massaged his temples lightly. “What kind of medicine are you talking about? Even the best doctor in this place has been brought in and just asked us to wait.”
The whole time she was looking at Luke, the man was already in a state where his condition was already worrisome; he was a man with a disability that made people sympathize at his young age.
Edith sighed softly and then turned to the IV that was attached to help Luke's intake amidst his deteriorating condition. “Don't worry, he'll wake up when he gets better-”
