    The ladies entered the cafe and were able to grab the large booth in the corner, seeing as it was a weekday afternoon. Mary saw them come in and quickly washed her hands to greet them. Treating Esmy and Merideth as old friends she has known for years and not friends she has only known a few short weeks.      "Thank god you're okay," she said giving the women a gentle squeeze.      "Thank god your food is deliciously distracting that we were able to escape from there." Merideth returned the hug, Mary looking over her shoulder at Amelia. The other lady giving her a subtle shake and mouthing the words,"Not yet."
