Don't Need Your Money

The second day in Senator Humphrey Mark's duplex. He was sitting in his living room with two of his men. Senator Humphrey Mark thinking then said to his men, " I can't think of who will kidnap my daughter, the kidnappers sent pictures and a message of what they want. This is a serious matter".

" Senator, we don't understand ". Man one said. " Do you remember Clara". Senator Humphrey Mark asked. " Which Clara, your formal personal secretary that tampered with the consignment ". Man one asked. " Yes that one". Senator Humphrey replied. "Senator, Clara is gone. what does she have to do with this". Man two asked.

" The kidnappers sent her pictures for information in exchange for my daughter's release". Senator Humphrey Mark replied. Both men were shocked with this new information. " Is that a joke, are they insane". Man two said.

"Don't mind them, I will play along with them till I catch them". Senator Humphrey replied.

" I want you to get information about Clara's friends, especially her family. Let me know if they are behind it". Humphrey Mark ordered. " Okay senator, we will do some diggings especially her family. Am sure we will find something ". Man two said. The men stood up and left Senator Humphrey Mark's house.

Afternoon of the same day. Jason Darren walked into the room and Eva Mark sits up on seeing him.

" Good afternoon sir". Eva Mark greeted Jason respectfully. Jason Darren stared at Eva Mark. She stammers, "H...have my father paid the ransom yet".Jason Darren answered Eva Mark,

" I have told him what I want, is up to him to respond".

" If you can tell me how much, it is. I can call the bank and make payment to you, just want to leave here, please".Eva pleaded with Jason.

Jason Darren chuckled at Eva Mark's words. "Do I look like I need money" Jason Darren asked.

"While, you are a low life who depends on other peoples sweat". Eva Mark replied sarcastically.

Jason Darren's countenance changed, getting annoyed. He said to Eva, " I will pretend that I didn't hear that".

" Am sorry sir, but I really want to leave, so please how much do you want". Eva Mark pleaded.

Jason Darren walked closer to Eva Mark and said, Not even all your father's wealth can buy it".

Eva Mark panicked and spluttered, "does that mean am not going to leave here". " Get use to it" Jason casually said. Then he turned to leave. " Please wait, I really need to use the bathroom because am beginning to smell". Eva pleaded with Jason. Jason Darren turned back and replied to Eva. " Your free, am not stopping you".

Eva Mark raised her hands showing the chains to him. " But am chained to the bed". she said. Jason ignored her and left the room.
