Sleeping With The Dogs It’s strange standing here at mom and dad’s graves, even stranger having to scale the cemetery fence after hours just to tell them goodbye. I never said goodbye when I left, over a decade ago now. Goodbyes seemed like the least important thing at the time. Better late than never I guess. My mom had a saying back then, Sleeping With The Dogs, which meant being in the doghouse, which is where I’ll be if I don’t move along soon. I don’t want to be seen out here, it just wouldn’t be good.
