Chapter Four Jessie and Emma brought their Christmas tree out of the box in pieces. The branches were colour-coded, but that didn’t seem to make matters any easier for them. They argued over which went where, and then started whacking each other with the branches, which led to laughter, which led to Emma putting on a show wherein her character had pine boughs for arms. Ricky sure was entertained. Though Emma looked much older than Debbie’s little brother, they were about the same age.
