Damon took a step closer, as he inspected Silvia once more. The mate of Topaz? The moon goddess mated him with his sworn enemy? She got him this time.

" You need to get rid of her before Topez gets a notification that his Luna is under your custody." Fiona stuttered.

He shook his head in agreement, she was right. He can't be the cause of the battle, he has always been a peaceful Alpha, and he only attacks when the margins line is drawn.

"Get her into the cart," He said coldly, as two guards carried her gently into the cart.

'' I'm coming with you. Who knows? Topez might decide to misunderstand the whole drama." Fiona said, trying to get into the cart too but was stopped by Damon

" This is my fight, I don't want to stain your pretty hands with some dirty dark blood." He smirked, his words melted her heart. He only complimented once in a while, and she has learned a way of making use of every one of such moments.

" I don't think this is the right thing to do. I mean she is our mate, she might also feel the mate bond too. I think she is no longer bound by Lopez. You are making a grave mistake." Rodger warned.

He was involved in heading down the battlefield. The sanity of my people is my number 1 priority and not even the moon goddess can take that away from them.

I arrived at the battlefield, taking a peep at the lady in the cart, but was welcomed with the dashing blue eyes of an omega wolf.

He gently dropped the wolf in the middle of the battlefield.

" Help!" She whispered. He was amazed at how much omega could be the lady in front of him, and h she shape-shifted easily.

" What are we doing in the woods? You are a lady and could be easily attacked by a rogue or a desperate wolf like myself." He said, as her eyes popped out in shock.

Silvia stared at the surroundings in shock, there were bodies at every corner of the field. She couldn't help but wonder how she appeared to the scene.

Memories of how she got betrayed by her mate came flashing into her mind. She burst into tears immediately, she couldn't accept the fact that Topez could do such a thing to her.

Damon got all confused, he helped her up as they moved down the nearest stream. He tended her wound softly without saying a word. Something wasn't right, but he couldn't see it.

Was the moon goddess playing a trick on him? He has lived for several years without a mate, why would the moon goddess decide to spare his life? In a ruthless way. She is an omega and would barely survive the humiliation in his park.

" How did you get here? " He asked breaking the awkward silence.

" I-I don't know." She strutted.

" You're an omega." He sighed, and she nodded.

" Can I know your pack? Maybe, I can send a message across to your Alpha to pick you up and join you with your family." He suggested, she shake her head in disagreement. There is no way she is going back to the person the almost took her life

The moon goddess gave her a second chance and she should be grateful.

Silvia's POV

I stared at his bright eyes, I didn't understand the game the moon goddess is trying to pull. She didn't just save me from my ruthless mate, she also gave me a new mate.

" You look scared, were you hurt by Topez men? " He asked, as I felt my heart skip a beat. How did he get to know about Topaz and his men?

" Oh! I mean, that weakling in the battlefield some minutes ago. " He chuckled.

" I would be fine," I said.

" Come with me!" He instructed me to walk away.

Silvia’s wolf, on autopilot, reaches out to the moon goddess who gives her a second chance, making her disappear from the trap and into a battlefield. Topaz orders his men to search for Silvia, following the bewildering incident.

This is quite surprising, Topez. He can't possibly live without me? I need to find a way to get back to him.

" We aren't going back to that monster. The moon goddess gave you a second life to live and now you're deciding to send it to those fools again right?"

" I'm fine on my own, I will find my way. What am I doing on a battlefield?" I asked, staring at the body in disgust. The moon goddess can't probably bring me in here of all the places.s.

Scene of the prevent event kept flashing through my mind. Did he really do that to me? He wanted me dead. All these years he wanted nothing but my gift and power. Why? Why does he have to be this grown?

I stared at the weird man in shock. He had a lot of concern written in his eyes, even with his armor covered in blood.

" What do you want? " I yelled, moving backwards. After Topaz incident I'm forced to believe that all men are the same, after the same goal.

" Hey, I won't hurt you.I'm only here to help you out. You look pretty weak, just grant me the permission to take you to my palace." He pleaded, moving closer.

" Do you remember where you came from? A name? A family? Pack? What do you remember?" He asked, as tears rolled down my cheeks. I wish I could say I have one, but they all betrayed me. What's the need of living anyway?

" I'm sorry. I can't remember anything. I don't know why, I don't even know how I got here in the first place." I lied. I felt an urge to throw up and I spilled everything all out.

I felt a huge sound of waves echoing in my head, sounds of range and anger. In a split second everything went dark.
