Sofia's POV ___________________________ Be my woman, girl, I'mma, be your man~ Alex shot a blank look my way as his phone rang and the lyrics to 'Hey Mama' blasted through, resonating inside the meeting room. The board of directors stirred, looking to each other and then to all of us as I sunk down in my seat. Yes, I had taken his phone but I had done something else. I'm down for you baby~ Alex didn't break eye contact with me as he silenced his phone and turned back to the projector board. Leo's shaking form caught my attention and I gasped, realizing that he had been the culprit and master mind. The grumpy old men shot us unamused glances as I glared at a grinning Leo through the entirety of the meeting. ___________________ "I swear I didn't do that! Alex!" I whined, following him to his office as he stomped away from the meeting room. The meeting had gone on for longer than we had expected. According to our calculations, the meeting was supposed to go on for a little over an hour at max. However, with Alex's father showing up half way through and the board of directors being grumpier than ever, the meeting instead went on for two hours. If it had in fact gone according to plan, then we would've been in a plane to Vegas in the next fifteen minutes but since the meeting was extended unexpectedly, we had put the jet preparations on hold. A six hour long flight and then a meeting with a Hotelier in Vegas merely an hour later. We were definitely going to be packed through out the day. "Alex!" I stomped my beautiful converses against the ground as he finally stopped outside his office and turned to me with a raised brow. "It wasn't me!" I added immediately and he chuckled in return, making me lean my head to one side in confusion as he pulled me into his office by my arm. "I know Leo did it, and I've already set a plan into action." The mischievous glint in his eyes had me backing away slowly as he grinned and wiggled his eyebrows. "No." "Yes." Oh my god, he couldn't have! Quickly grabbing his laptop bag from a waiting Gabriel and pocketing his phone, he took a hold of my arm and dashed outside his office. "Alex you didn't." He laughed lowly at that, pulling us inside the elevator as Leo's voice roared through the hallways. "ALEX BENJAMIN WHITTMAN!!!!" Leo made his appearance across the hall and Alex rushed to press the close button as Leo's angry march towards us began. "Oh my god! hurry!" A sigh of relief left my lips as the door closed before my infuriated cousin could reach us. "He'll get us back in Vegas." I punched his arm in response, earning a fake 'Ow' from him that had my eyes narrowing in return. "What?" He pouted as I glared at him. "Did you seriously do that?" Sighing, he fixed his coat a little and grinned at me. "Yup." Groaning silently in response, I shrugged him off as he tried to lean against me. "This eyesore, isn't giving you any support." "Soph-" He was cut off as the elevator dinged open and I walked out with him hot on my heels. One thing I knew for sure was that ignoring Alex the golden egg, always got under his skin. First he'd try to steal your attention, then he'll pretend to be upset with you, then he'll pretend to ignore you too and then came the final stage. "Then I became a princess overnight! Now i gotta figure out how to do it right! So much to learn and see~" I couldn't hold my laughter. "Sofia the first~ Living in a palace with my new family!!" I used my hands to cover his mouth, my shoulders shaking with laughter as he grinned. The final stage with me included a singing marathon of 'Sofia the first!'. the first three stages passed during the car ride and now that we were in the plane, the fourth stage had started and the stewardess was looking at us amused. "S-stop." I whispered breathlessly, trying to breath through my chuckles. His off key singing of a childish song was never going to stop being the most amusing thing ever. "Not mad anymore?" Huffing in return, I dropped my head onto his shoulder. "Leo's gonna kill you." "I know." Giggling in return, I glanced at the stewardess as she walked towards us. "Would you like something to drink?" Since this was the company's jet, we had quite a variety of drinks and foods that wouldn't worsen Alex's motion sickness. For the time being, his meds were keeping him stable but I knew for sure that he would certainly be drowsy once we had landed. "Just water, thank you." She nodded her head, glancing to Alex to find him occupied with his laptop. I held up two fingers and mouthed 'water for him too' and she walked away. "But seriously lexy, those pictures." He chuckled and glanced at me sideways before returning his focus to the screen. The photos I was talking about were those from a dare we had Leo do in high school. Where he had to wear a one piece swim suit and pose like a model. "I think the old men just loved the heels." The fact that he displayed those pics, even for a second in front of the board of director's was hysterical. And knowing Leo, he was definitely already planning a murder or revenge. "I loved those heels, and he literally ruined them." That had unfortunately been the truth, Alex had grabbed my 'awesomest' looking heels and made Leo wear them as Vince clicked away with the camera. Snapping pictures of his twin in his embarrassing attire. I could seriously never forget that day. "A little to the left." "Ugh this is taking too long! you guys are just playing with me now." I laughed as Leo glared at a grinning Vince and a eyebrow-wiggling Alex. "Of course we are, what are friends for?" "With shits like you, no one would ever know." Gasping in offense, Alex placed a hand to his heart and made eye contact with Vince, who immediately smirked. "You know what? The look isn't really complete, what do you think Lexy?" Alex shrugged in response and held up a shoe box after glaring at the mention of his nickname. "I think, a dash of killer red is what we need. What do you think Soph?" I hummed in fake thought before agreeing with a grin. "Oh yes, a gorgeous female from head to toe." Leo glared at me in return but our staring contest only lasted a few minutes as Alex pulled out my favorite heels. I snickered at the thoughts going through my head, Leo hadn't missed the chance to verbalize his hatred for us.So it had been a promise between the four of us that one day, when Leo would forget the upper hand we had on him, the pictures would be put on display briefly. Leo had been tall and sort of slender during high school, so making him pose like a female actually made him look rather feminine. And that just pissed him off even more. The fact that he made it look so gorgeous just made us wonder what he would look like in a two piece. After eavesdropping on us and finding out about our plans, he had started working out to get a sturdy and lean build. Unfortunately, ruining all our dreams and hopes of clicking pics of him in a two piece. "How have you been sleeping lately?" Alex's question brought me out of my daze as I yawned. Glancing sideways at him I only managed a sheepish smile which was answer enough for him. I hadn't been able to sleep once again, everyone in my family knew that I had night terrors so | was usually presented with free choice to share a penthouse with anyone from the family. But I'd rather not force them to ruin their schedule and possibly mess up their internal clock for the sake of a few hours of sleep. That, and I also had my own gorgeous penthouse which I didn't want to leave behind for any reason. I had an unhealthy attachment to that place... and Grandpa's home. Which was a stunning Victorian styled mansion in all white. "Not really..." Alex sighed at my response before closing his laptop and turning to give me his full and undivided attention. The stewardess returned with two glasses of water that we took from her gratefully. "We have a couple of hours till the plane lands, why don't you head on to the bedroom in the back and get some rest?" Catching his sincere look, I sighed knowing that there was no getting out of this. "Wait, no wonder you've been consuming so much coffee." I shrugged in response as he thought something to himself and stood up. I took the hand he had extended my way and let him pull me to my feet. "Come on, I think I need a nap as well."
