Alex's POV
I kicked my leg in the air, trying to remove the heavy weight pushing it down and keeping it warm, only to jolt awake as a shout and yelp greeted my ears.
I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes, smiled sheepishly as Leo sat up, and growled at me, his head held in his hands. Vincent's feet had been propped up on my stomach, and had fallen onto my lap while Leo had smothered my legs under himself in his sleep.
You must be wondering: how did three 26-year-old gigantic men end up sharing a bed? The answer is simple really, they were running from the 26-year-old angry female that was around 5-7 inches shorter than they were.
"Do you think she's up?"
Vince grumbled his question groggily and we exchanged glances with each other. None of us knew what to expect from this trip anymore. Besides the last meeting of our stay being held in the afternoon today.
"Hopefully not."
Leo yawned through his answer as I pushed Vince away from myself and stood up. Man, sleeping in a space with these two really was not the best for your body. Not only was the left side of my neck cramped, but also my legs felt heavier than bricks.
"If she made us breakfast, don't eat it. Remember, they always keep those tiny poison pills to scare insects away and she always ends up finding them."
I closed the door behind myself after making the announcement. Both of them had borrowed clothes from me for the night and had comfortably snuggled into the covers while squishing me simultaneously.
Deciding to take a bath to soothe out the cramps, I sat inside for almost 15 minutes. After which, Leo's constant knocking had me toweling my hair and hurriedly throwing on trousers before exiting.
He rushed past me silently while I scoped my surrounding for the twin i***t.
"This'll work."
Found him.
Walking out of my closet, Vince threw the thickest of my coats at me as I frowned. This meant one thing and one thing alone.
"Is she up?"
He looked to the door and swallowed before shrugging, letting me know that he had not had the guts to open the door and peek outside. After all, we all knew how good Soph was when it came to tackling people and pillow fights. She never missed.
Wrapping the coat securely around myself, I picked up a pillow to defend myself against the tiny she-demon. Vince followed behind me, his hands readily held out to use me as a shield and block in case she wanted to break us all over again.
Upon checking her room, we both sighed in relief. The sight of her cuddled up in her blankets was reassuring, not only because she was an insomniac who had meds or well... us as her sleeping pills, but also because this meant we were not in danger...yet.
Vince left for his room after that, while Leo cozied up to my en-suite bathroom.
It was hard to resist laughing now that I thought back to last night, but the cramp in my neck had me wincing in pain instead.
The fact that Soph could drain us of our courage by simply glaring at us, said a lot about our friend group. With her being at the top of the food chain.
I had left her door slightly ajar because I planned on cooking breakfast for us. Definitely not fair play, but a pouty, sleepy and hungry Soph was much less frightening than an angry she-demon who would chase us around and tackle us.
Last night's events were a reminder to never cross or double cross my best friend.
"Oh my god you have boobs! Take care of your boobs! Why do I care about your boobs more than you do?!"
"Because you're a p*****t!"
"Am not!!"
Leo's perky voice rang in our ears as Soph tackled him to the ground.
"Stay away from me! It was their fault why am I~ Oomph!"
Vince did not sound even remotely threatening as he ran around with Soph following close behind him. After giving him a good shove and sitting on him for a few minutes, she turned her attention to me.
Knowing what the look in her eyes meant, I immediately fell to my knees and held out the gift basket we had put together. She stared at it quietly before tilting her head to the side and taking a seat on the kitchen counter.
I refused to get too close to her while she was not restrained, but the only way to save our asses was to be her slaves for a bit. Reading my mind, the twins shifted from the spots she had tackled them in, and groaned in pain while coming to stand behind her.
They hooked their arms underneath hers to hold her back while I popped open the ice cream containers lid and started to spoon feed her. Slowly but surely, her feet started kicking in the air since they couldn't reach the ground, and it was a proof that the sane part of her had just woken up.
"Gimme more."
She mumbled softly as I opened up the second container of Oreo chip ice cream. Once the second container was also swiped clean, all three of our gazes settled on her, waiting for her to make a life changing decision.
"I'll give you a head start."
She didn't have to say another word as her cousins left her and hooked their arms with mine to drag me away. All the while, I watched my best friend as she grinned and dug into a pack of Hershey's kisses.
Looking so unbelievably harmless that any unknowing creature would peg her as someone completely incapable of violence.
I snorted to myself at the thought, a smile pulling at my lips as I heard a very familiar sleepy whine come from behind me. I didn't have to turn around to know who was standing behind me, she was always cute and whiny when she first woke up.
I heard the bar stool being dragged for a bit and glanced at her to find her cuddling with her pillow sleepily. Now this is when she looked harmless... and adorable.
"Awe, did baby sleep well after giving people nightmares?"
I cooed at her playfully.
"Mhm, like a baby."
I chuckled in response to that before verbally pushing her to go get ready for breakfast.
"But we don't have a meeting till the next two hours!"
I shrugged in response.
"Alex."
She pouted as I finished setting up the fourth plate and took off my apron to mess up the nest on her head even more.
"Go."
Leaving her pillow on the counter, she dragged her feet across the floor disdainfully, giving me a pouty glance over her shoulder to change my mind, but I stood my ground against her cuteness overload technique.
The next thing I heard was Leo's yelp of surprise as he passed by her.

Sophia's POV
"According to this contract, a feud between the companies will not affect my profit in any way."
For some reason, the three CEO's just sat back and left the question answers to me. Helping me realize exactly how annoyingly useless they were at times. Then again, it could be their way of getting back at me for yesterday.
I knew that Vincent himself had found Ms. Somerset Jr. attractive but had refused to go for an arranged meeting regardless of how many people asked him to. This surprise meeting had been my plan and I wanted to be there to experience it unfold first hand.
Moreover, they had not even recorded anything!
What sort of a best friend doesn't record their friend's embarrassment?!
"Of course, we'll hold our end of the bargain as long as the dealing grounds between all three parties remain undisturbed."
Since Vincent had managed to pacify the board of directors and get us a positive response, we were able to hold a proper discussion regarding the contract today. Once the final signing was finished, we could have the rest of the day and part of tomorrow all to ourselves.
A victorious war cry nearly escaped me as Mr. Roberto lifted the pen and signed the contract.
Bloody hell! Finally, no more meetings!
It had been a while since we had enough time to ourselves to indulge in particularly time wasting activities. Now that we were free, there was no doubt that we were going to enjoy ourselves to the best of our abilities.
Bidding our farewell to our new client, we made our way to the elevator, choosing to remain silent and composed until the doors shut before us.
"Finally."
"Freedom."
"I can breathe now."
Their over dramatic comments had me raising eyebrows in their direction.
"Excuse you guys, who was the one in charge of the deal?"
They opened in their mouths to respond but I cut them off and continued.
"You, that's who, and who ended up doing all the work?"
They went to respond once again, but silenced themselves as I continued.
"Me, so if this time isn't going to be spent relaxing on my end, I will come after each and every one of you separately. Clear?"
They nodded their heads like good little boys as I turned my back to them and faced the door. After a second of silence, they began mumbling among themselves. Probably discussing our plans for the rest of our stay.
Leo remained focused on his phone until we returned to the penthouse, it was not unusual for him to have nothing better to do. However, the fact that he had the time to do whatever he wanted now and was not using it for something else was new.
"Yes! It's final!"
His sudden outcry had my other two best friends choking on their glasses of water, while I shrugged off my coat and raised an eyebrow at a giddy looking Leonard.
"Guess who's hosting a party at Wynn?"
"Uhh... not us?"
He rolled his eyes at my response before shoving his phone in my direction. I looked to his screen hesitantly and a smile immediately made its way onto my lips.
"Floyd North? Since when did you two get close enough for him to invite you to a party?"
Floyd North was a high school rival of ours, since we went to one of the most private and strict schools, that was well known for the businessmen and women it had produced within the past half century, we had quite the competition. In addition, placing first always became a thrill.
With all teens thriving to survive in such a competitive and mentally destructive environment, to say it was a blast to make the best enemies possible would be an understatement.
"Since my last visit to Vegas, now go find good clothes to wear, the party starts in two hours!"
Nothing else had to be said, as our fun deprived minds decided to attend the party hosted by our once enemy.
It was an hour later that Alex made his way into my room and plopped down onto my bed, knowing exactly what this meant, I waited fifteen minutes and as expected, my cousins casually sauntered their way into my domain.
"Bring your suits."
I had muttered with a defeated sigh and watched as they excitedly raced out, giving me a good ten minutes to dry my hair. By the time I was done, they had made their way back in, fully dressed in their party attire.
They waited nervously as I scanned each one of them up and down and fixed something that looked even remotely out of place.
"To think we need your opinion on what to wear every time we go out."
Leo muttered as I fixed his bow tie, his remark had me rolling my eyes and pulling the tie around his neck tightly before letting it go as he coughed.
I fixed Alex's hair and Vince's cuff links before shoving them out and getting started on myself. Leo had told us just half an hour ago that JJ and Rachel were going to be there and it made me nervous, I had not seen JJ in a year and I still liked him. But that's the thing about crushing on someone, you somehow always managed to make a fool out of yourself.
With a sigh, I slipped on my heels after completing my look with the black dress that reached a little above my knees with full sleeves, and made my way down the stairs where those three waited. Hooking my arm with Alex since even he had not completely regained his senses after hearing that his crush was also going to be there, I followed my cousin out of the pent house.
For a party that we would never forget... for the most part.
