Chloe's phone nearly slipped from her hand. Nathan tried to struggle, but Chloe stomped on his foot, forcing him to behave.
"Didn't Nova take Brian?"
Hearing that Brian was missing, Chloe's heart instantly tightened.
Lucas's voice came through the phone again. "When Nova went to pick him up, Brian broke free from her hand and ran away. He hasn't come back yet."
Lucas's low voice carried his worry, and Chloe could feel it clearly.
"Don't worry," Chloe said. "I'll help you look for him right now."
