"Lucas, let me get out first. You should go check on your grandma."
Chloe suggested stepping out of the car, but Lucas made the decision to get out himself and instructed the driver to take Chloe back.
"Then how will you get there?" Chloe asked anxiously, her eyes full of worry.
Lucas replied calmly, "Bennett Group's branch office is just ahead. They have cars there."
Chloe reminded him with concern, "It's probably because of what just happened. Lucas, make sure to deny any connection between us. We can't risk Mrs. Bennett's condition getting worse."
Lucas glanced at Chloe. "I won't deny it."
After saying this, Lucas turned and walked away, his tall figure exuding determination.
