"Jordan's annoying brother took the book."
My eyes widened in shock at Adrian's sudden confession. Corvin? Corvin took the book? But why would he even do that?
I staggered backward, still trying to process Adrian's words.
"H-ow do you know th-at?" I stuttered.
Adrian shrugged. "It is true that I have been watching you guys and I also planned to steal the book from you but it seemed like Corvin had plans like that too. I caught him breaking into your friend's locker and taking the book."
I swallowed a lump down my throat and leaned against the tree. Did Jordan know about this? There was no way in hell Jordan would know about such a thing and still support his brother.
