I recognized the voices around me, but my head felt too heavy to lift, so I settled for just opening my eyes. I found myself staring directly into a pair of yellow ones, and I quickly realized who they belonged to.
“Laelia!” Ladon exclaimed happily when he saw me awake.
He threw his arms around me, and that’s when I noticed we weren’t alone. All my brothers were there, watching over me. How were they here?
“How are you feeling, my Lady?” Libelle asked, standing to my left and looking me over. Kayda was beside her, with Erika just behind them. I narrowed my eyes slightly at Erika. I still couldn’t believe she had spent all this time with Blaze… How did she even feel about me losing this baby?
