I smiled at the thought. I quickly walked through the doors, my heart pounding, and ready to find Carlisle and put my plan into action. I searched the cafeteria, a giant smile on my face, until I saw it-
Carlisle.
Carlisle was hooking up with some random girl, in front of the whole school.
My heart shattered. I wanted to curl up on the spot and cry my eyes out.
"Blithe? You okay? What's..." Mandy trailed off, her eyes following my gaze.
Suddenly Carlisle froze and pulled away, as if he could tell we were watching him. His eyes met mine. Something flashed in them- was it regret? Before I could give it a second thought, and smirk broke out onto his face. He grabbed the girl's hand, standing up.
My once pounding heart nearly stopped beating all together.
