I was speechless.
I opened my mouth to protest, when I heard a yell.
"Carlisle look out!"
I peeked around Carlisle to see Ian and the guys only twenty feet away- but most importantly, a giant ass wolf crouching down only five feet away, getting ready to pounce.
And it did.
I let out my famous bone chilling scream, and for it to only get louder as Carlisle kicked the wolf in the chest, just before it could land on us.
The wolf flew several feet through the air, landing on its side. Yet, it still managed to stand up, growling louder than before.
I managed to force myself to stop screaming, but continued cowering in fear behind Carlisle. He turned to me and searched my eyes with his- as if checking if I were okay.
