The metallic taste of blood filled my mouth, but I quickly regrouped and stood by Carlisle, snarling at the other rogues. Ignoring Carlisle's wolfishly bewildered expression, I leapt over him and attacked the on coming wolf. I continued my attack until I was suddenly tackled from behind. Before I could react, the wolf bit down on shoulder, refusing to let go. I let out a scream of terror, which ended up to be a howl or pain.
