Dean pov
Two months later
“How are you, man? Don’t be nervous she coming. You know the women. She wants to be beautiful on her wedding day” Seth trying to comfort me. Rose is late, she is never late and I didn’t think she would start today.
“She doesn’t need to try to be beautiful. She is already perfect” I say and he laughs.
“A man in love. I wonder if I’m gonna feel like that”
“Your turn will come. Don’t worry”
“I’m a free bird. I’m for all women to enjoy me” I roll my eyes. Where is Rose to save me from him? I look around at the decorations, Rose personally deals with that. Red gerberas are her favorite flower. Beautiful just like her. I hear music, there she is with her dad and mum. First, comes to the bridesmaids, and then she takes position. She smiles at me with her long lace sleeveless wedding dress and her hair falls on her shoulder. And small flowers on her head. Perfect just perfect, I don't have words to describe her. She walks with her parents to the altar and soon she is with me and we look at the priest. He starts the ceremony and I hold her hand, she squeezes me.
“We can start with your vows,” the priest says and I start
“ You remembered the first time we met? I knew it from the first moment I saw you. I knew it was meant for us to be together for the rest of our lives. You have become my lover, my partner, and my best friend. There is no other with whom I would like to build my life. I have the opportunity to have you by my side, my love, and my wife for eternity. You have taught me that two people who are together with respect, trust, and open communication can be stronger and happier than just any human being. You are the power I did not know I needed and the joy I did not know I did not have. Today, I choose to spend the rest of my life with you. I promise I will be there to catch you when you stumble, to carry you under every threshold, and to fall in love with you every day.” I see Rose trying to hold back her tears.
“Dean, How lucky am I to call you "mine"? Your love and trust make me a better person, every special day. For all the times we have together, there has always been a common understanding, which is only shared when two people truly love each other. You were there for my biggest challenges. You encouraged me to mature. You helped me believe in myself and become the person I am today. In your arms and next to you, I can do everything. I'm proud to call you my husband. When I'm with you, everything else fades into the background. You flood my senses with joy. You are my life, the most wonderful gift. I will hold your hand and stand by you for better or for worse. I dedicate my life to your happiness, success, and your smile. I will love you forever. You are every dream of mine that came true and I look forward to the reality we will build together.” She says and I smile at her. She is perfect and she is all mine.
“....you can kiss the bride” I didn’t hear the rest only the last part. I cup her face and kiss her passionately. She passes her hands around my waist and pulls me close to her. Seth clears his throat and I realize that we are not alone. I smile at Rose and she kisses my nose. I take her hand and walk to the altar to the house. We say to Diana and Seth to help the people to the tables and I take Rose to our bedroom. I gently push her inside.
“Dean what....” I did let her finish and I kissed her hard. She melts in my touch.
“Two days is too long to be away from you. And you are late to come to the wedding. What happened?” I tell her and kiss her again.
“I wanted to be sure that I’m a beautiful bride for you.” I touch her cheeks
“You are always beautiful” I kiss her again, on the lips then her neck.
“We have to go back”
“It will be quick. Please? I missed you” She didn’t want much to convince her. After a half-hour, we were in the backyard for the party.
