Third Person POV   Ever since last night, the night of the fundraising event, where Dranz bid for himself to have a date with Max, Anya’s heart was crushed to pieces. When the man she loves dashed away from the venue with another woman is like several knives in her heart.   She cried herself to sleep that night. She was hurt, she was sad, she was broken. For Anya, Dranz is the perfect man for her. Since they were kids, she would follow him around. Every time her brother would go to the Salvatore residence, she would always go too.   Like when they were kids, Dranz would only look at her as his friend’s little sister. She thought it’ll be fine since Dranz was never interested in any girl, and she’s the only girl that has been around him the most.   But she thought wrong. Dranz clearly is interested with the Spanish heiress that he went as far as bidding for himself, so he wouldn’t have to go on a date with any other girl. ********   Anya silently went down for breakfast in an early Saturday morning. She saw her brother having breakfast. She sat beside him, and just stares on her plate.   Drenk noticed how down his sister at the moment. “What’s wrong?” He asked. “D-Do you know where Dranz is?” Anya asked her brother.   Drenk sighed and took a sip of his coffee. “No one knows. He just disappeared last night.” He said.   Like his sister, Drenk was down hearted. He agreed to join the auction in hopes that Max will bid for him and he’ll be able to take her on a date. But he was wrong, as the Max didn’t bid for anyone.   So it was a shock for him when his best friend suddenly bid for himself and announced that he wants to date Max. He knew Dranz since they were kids, and he never seen him get interested in a girl. He’s always busy with studies and their company.   He never knew that his friend is interested on the girl that caught his interest as well. “What’s with that girl that Dranz took a 360 degree turn? I just don’t get it.” Anya said. “Don’t worry about it okay.” Drenk told his sister.   Anya looked at his brother. “You like her right?” She asked.   Drenk chuckled. “I guess I do. Max is not like any other girl I dated. She’s just amazing.” He said. “What does she have that I don’t? Anya asked, and Drenk looked at her. “Don’t think about it too much okay.” Drenk said. “But you know I love Dranz! I’ve been in love with him since the very start! He should be on a date with me, not that girl!” Anya exclaimed. “Anya!”   The brother and sister turned towards their left where their parents came in. “That silly crush of yours is not healthy anymore Anya!” Anika, their mother scolded her daughter.   Anya frowned. “No mom, Dranz is mine. I’ve waited patiently for me. He can’t date that girl!” Anya cried, and then she stood up and left.   Drenk sighed and stood up, and then he followed his sister. Anya sighed and took a seat, while Nathan rubbed her back. “Nathan, I’m worried about Anya.” She said. “Don’t worry too much honey. Anya is just being emotional.” Nathan said. “Nathan, you don’t understand. I see myself in our daughter right now. My obsession with you cost us so much pain and grief.” Anika said, remembering what they went through.   In the past Anika acted so obsessed with Nathan that she did despicable things. “Anika, I thought we agreed to bury that in the past. We’ve been forgiven and we all moved on.” Nathan told his wife as he kneeled in front of her. “B-But, I cannot forget that you lost a child. I-If I wasn’t-“   Nathan cut her off. “None of that matters now.”   It was true that Nathan lost a child without him knowing. Anika and his mother connived into getting him to marry Anika. His mother went to different lengths to make that happen. Even getting his girlfriend that time killed. Marie survived, but not their unborn child. “Anya is acting like I did before. I’m scared that she’ll end up more hurt than she is today. It’s not just a silly crush, it’s an obsession. And it won’t do her any good.”Anya said.   Nathan stood up, and pulled her in to his arms. “Let’s hope that it won’t happen.” Nathan said. ***************   Meanwhile in the Salvatore mansion, Alex and Marie are having breakfast with Eirick. “Mom I was right wasn’t I? Dranz is definitely into something.” Eirick said. “How can Dranz do such thing last night?” Marie mumbled.   Last night, they saw a different Dranz. A more laid back version of their son. Being in the auction is enough to surprise them, but the young Salvatore has more surprises up in his sleeves.   Not only did he pull out a hundred million to bid for himself, he also proclaimed his claim that he wants to date the Spanish heiress. After that, he just took the girl and took off.   Marie turned to her husband. “Aren’t you going to say anything?” Marie asked, and her husband looked at her. “What do you want me to say?” Alex asked.   Marie groaned. “Alex, your son is acting all strange! He could be an impostor for all we know!” Marie exclaimed that Alex and Eirick gaped at her. “Cara mia, you’re being paranoid.” Alex said, and Marie glared at him. “He’s not an impostor my dear sister.”   They turned to see Marie’s older brother, Prince Marius approaching them. “How can you say that? You rarely see your nephew.” Marie scolded her brother, who ignored and took a sit next to Eirick. “Take a chill pill sister.” The prince said.   Marie frowned. “Riu, enough with your childish actuations. You’re not getting any younger, when are you even going to get married?” Marie asked her brother.   Prince Marius rolled his eyes and took a piece of toast. “Soon.” He mumbled, and then he took a sip of his coffee. “What can you say about Dranz last night?” Alex asked his brother-in-law. “Nothing, Dranz is not an impostor or in any influence.” The prince answered. “Then what’s up with him uncle?” Eirick asked.   Prince Riu smirked. “Dranz is in love. He is in love with that Spanish heiress.” The prince said.   Alex and Marie looked at each other, and then they both grinned. “The two of you looked creepy.” Eirick said, looking at his parents. “Did you know the real reason why Dranz asked you to ask Marcel to attend the event?” Marius asked Marie, who just shrugged. “Your son just connived with the Spanish heiress to bring Marcel and Isadora back together.” Marius said. “Isadora? The Spanish Countess that Marcel dated before?” Alex asked, and the prince nodded. “Yes. The two ditched the event even before the auction started that’s why I have no choice but to step in.” He said. “So where is Marcel?” Marie asked. “I don’t know. I was out all night.” “What’s with you and the girl that bid for you?” Alex asked.   Marius chuckled. “That girl and I go way back.” The prince said. “Yeah right.” Marie grumbled.   Marie knew her brother is a bit of a playboy, that’s why he’s still not married. “She’s a jewellery empire heiress that I met in France a few years back. She’s just too good for me, that’s why we never worked out.” Marius said with a wistful look on his face. “If you are going on a date with her, make sure that it won’t be the last. Whatever you two have is something special, I can tell.” Marie said.   Marius narrowed his eyes on his sister. “Are you a match maker now? You’re beginning to sound like mother.”The Prince grumbled. “I just want to see the three of you happily married with family, especially Marcel. Dad is not getting younger; soon he will be passing the throne to Marcel.” Marie said.   The prince sighed. “Don’t worry about us too much.” He told his sister, and began to eat his breakfast.   The prince fall silent as his mind wander off to some place, better yet someone. Amelie Mercier, the French jewellery heiress that holds his heart.
