CHAPTER TWENTY-TWO “All we have to decide is what to do with the time given to us.” J.R.R. TOLKIEN Sam was in exactly the same spot on the mountain, but no cats purred beside her and no flames roared below. Through the canyon wall, Sam saw a refraction of light. A shiny object was wedged between two orange rocks. Could she hope it was the disk, the original one that she’d destroyed before the time warp opened?
