AUTHOR’S NOTE
I wrote this book twenty years ago and came across it with many other manuscripts, some of which were still handwritten in notebooks. Luckily, this was on computer but needed to be updated and reformatted in the current version of Word. At first, I also considered updating the period information but decided to keep it and the 1998 setting. I thought this would be appropriate because it was a time-travel piece. Readers may find of interest the additional information I added later in the book of major events that occurred after the book was written until the present day including a brief scene describing the COVID-19 pandemic.
