Allister’s POV
I look to my left and see Lance sleeping. This must be a good dream if I wake up still in it. Lance wakes up as I rub his ears the way he likes it. “We must be in a deep sleep if we both woke up here.” I say to him. He just nods and goes back to sleep. I think it’s time to wake up but I will in a bit. It feels peaceful here so I just want to relax a little bit more.
I hear some distant humming in the background. That’s weird. I don’t see anyone so where is this humming coming from. Lance gets up and hears it too. We both look trying to find that voice. I like that voice. Whose voice is that? “Lance we need to wake up now, can you give us a kick?” I ask him. He goes to me and bites my arm. “Ow!” I yell. I will get him for that.
