"okay a long time ago i met this young whitch she was kind , smart and hard as nails which i admired so i offered to help her with her magic i helped with some spells and gave her a few tips on the spells she had already written after the years went on we became really close friends it was around about the time the humans found out about whitches and vampires so i went to see if she was okay but she was moving away with some people she didnt say who she was going with but just that she had to go with them so i gave her some spells that would protect her from other vamps that might try to harm her and we promised to write to each other often so lets skip a few years"
i took a sip of my drink god this is harder to talk about than i thought "one day i was in my study when i got a magic letter from her it said she needed my help with a spell and something about a tomb" "the tomb under old fells church" tyler pointed out "yeah" i took another drink "so i packed up and headed to a small town called mystic falls" i swolled hard and looked around the room everyone was looking straight at me
"but by the time i got to the chruch it was already on fire and i knew she was in there so i quickly put a protection spell around myself and ran in looking for her and thats where i found a bunch of vamps and emily she explained what she was wanting to do but time was running out and she told me to get out before the place burned down around us
and i promised that i would finish the spell she had already been working on and just before i left she shouted for me and pulled her necklace off and made me do a blood promise which ment i was bound by blood to see this promise through that i would give the necklace to the next bennet witch a one of true heart and so i got out of there as fast as i could and quickly finished the spell with emilys blood and waited till the true bennet came of age" the room was horribly quite
so i downed the rest of my drink " but , but why me there has been plenty of other witches before me you could of given it to"" because your a true hearted witch of that bloodline""but what dose that mean"caroline asked looking between me and bonnie
"it means shes true hearted does anything to protect the ones around her and to save some no matter how good or bad that person is no matter the cost like she was ready to die to save elenas life when she channeled all those whitches and she knew it was the right thing to do by putting the fire out long enough to get stefan and damon out of that basement sorry about anna she was a lovely young girl" i said glancing over at jeremy " and after that day you tryed to save elana the stone on the necklace lit up like a beacon and i knew it was time and i made a promise and like hell was i going to break it" i finally said looking at bonnie i reached into my leather jacket and pulled out the crimson red ruby necklace and dangled it from my finger and when i pointed it toward bonnie it lit up again knowing whos bloodline she was and i handed it to her " well what will happen when she puts it on" matt asked looking at bonnie then at me " to be truly honest with you i have no f*****g clue"
