Afterword Author’s Notes Much of my research about smuggling in Regency England came from The Ordnance Survey Guide to Smugglers’ Britain: Over 250 Haunts and Hideouts from the Great Years of Contraband, by Richard Platt. A fellow Regency writer loaned me her copy of this fascinating book, and I pored over the maps and regional information. Lulworth Cove and other locations mentioned in the book are real places on the Dorset coast, and I chose it for my setting because of information in Smuggler’s Britain.
