Thrilled by his strength and cunning, Sylvia was torn between the desire to kiss him and hug him and make certain he was uninjured, and being offended by his display of schoolboy antics. “Captain Ruford has agreed to meet us tomorrow to discuss our counteroffer.” She was pleased her voice betrayed no emotion. “Until tomorrow, then.” Tony nodded farewell to the captain, who climbed into the last boat with his men and pushed off from the beach.
