Chapter two

I woke up with a ravenous hunger and a pounding headache. As I opened my eyes, I saw Marco. He was naked except for the shorts he was wearing, and he had black and red tattoos all over his body and back. I won't lie to you, he looked so hot. He looked at me as if he wanted to devour me instantly; his eyes were stone cold. "Get off the bed now!" he commanded. "And take off that costume you call a wedding dress," he said angrily. I didn't move from the side of the bed where I was curled up. I just looked at him. "I remember telling you that I don't like to repeat myself. Don't make me force you to do what is right," he warned. He took a chair and sat opposite me, staring directly into my eyes. He picked up a cup from the floor and pointed at me. "Cheers to our new relationship," he said, standing up and leaving the room. After about five minutes, a maid entered the room with a tray of food. "Madam, here is your dinner. Boss said you should eat this as soon as possible," the maid said fearfully. "Tell him to go screw himself and his goddamn food," I snapped. She dropped the food on the table. "He also said I should prepare a bath for you, and there are clothes in the wardrobe. He asked me to collect your wedding dress and trash it." "What? Trash my wedding dress? He must be out of his mind." "Please, Ma, even if you don't eat the food or take the bath, please give me the dress. If you don't give it to me, boss will kill me." I looked away from her and glanced at the window. It was starting to get dark; it was around 6 PM. My mind wandered to Francis. I couldn't imagine what state of mind he was in now that his fiancée had gone missing on their wedding day. The gentle sobbing of the maid brought me back to reality. She was on her knees. "Why are you crying for God's sake?" I asked. "Boss threatened that if I don't take out the wedding dress, my family won't find my corpse. I don't want to die," she burst into loud sobs. I pitied her, but there was no way I was taking off my wedding dress. "Look here, there is no chance that I'm taking this dress off. Maybe you should leave this job and find another one where they won't threaten your life." I looked at her; there was no evidence of lying on her face. I knew my life was miserable, but I didn't want her life to end because of me. I knew the kind of monster we were dealing with. I decided to give her the wedding dress, but there was no way I would eat the food. I entered the bathroom, removed the dress, and came out after wrapping myself in a towel. I dropped the wedding dress for the maid and went back inside to bathe. I noticed that I was beginning to have body odor. As I exited the bathroom, I saw Marco sitting on the bed. He looked at me and smiled in a devilish way, like a vampire that wants to suck my blood. "You look so pretty without that rag. Come here, let's have some fun together. You know we are going to be couples tonight. We can't keep fighting like cats and dogs," Marco said. "Me and you over my dead body. I would rather feed myself to dogs than let you have your way with me." "We will see about that now," he said as he got up to lock the door. As he moved towards me, I continued to shift back towards the wall. But as soon as I reached the wall, I couldn't move any longer. He loosened my towel and I was stark naked. He grabbed my left breast with his right hand. I tried to move away from him, but he held me by the neck and pinned me against the wall. I found myself shedding hot tears. He started to touch me all over my body, grabbing my ear with his lips and nibbling on them. He then whispered, "I will make you mine." He dragged me to the bed and pinned my hands with his hands and had his way with me. He didn't even show any emotions of love as he stroked in and out of me. It was like he was having s*x with a non-living thing. I had always dreamt of my wedding night with Francis. As soon as he proposed to me, I thought it was going to be a night to remember together with Francis. After he was done, he said to me, "I know you can do better than this. Next time you should do better." I saw bloodstains on the bedspread and was overwhelmed with sorrow. The devil has stollen my virginity. After he left, a maid and one of his men came. I had wrapped myself up in a towel. The maid brought three different dresses and dropped them on the bed. So there was actually no cloth in the wardrobe that son of a b***h actually fooled me. "You should come with me in ten minutes, ma'am. My boss says Francis life could be in danger if you don't show up in time." "What has he done to him? Where is Francis?" I asked with rage. "I don't have answers to any of your questions, ma'am, but maybe if you follow me, you might get your answers," the security said. I picked up some of the dress quickly; it was a t-shirt and a denim skirt. I asked the guard to wait outside as I dressed up. The guard led me into an elevator and took me into the basement. I saw Marco, Donald, and two other guards in the room. Everyone was looking at a dead screen except Marco who was looking at his phone. "Where is Francis?" I inquired immediately. "Calm down, this is not your turf. You don't have a say in this place," Marco replied. "Switch on the screen; let's show her where Francis is." The screen came on, and I saw Francis in his apartment. He was sitting at the table with two other guys I didn't know, and he looked stressed. I could see it in his eyes that he was sad because he couldn't find me. "Don't get it twisted. Francis thinks those people sitting with him are cops, but they are my men," Marco said, faking a sad expression. He brought another copy of the marriage contract and handed it to me. I glanced through it and saw Francis' name. "If you don't behave as I asked you to behave, Francis dies" was boldly written on the contract. "You have ten seconds before I make the call." Eight! Seven! Six! Five! Four! Three! With my eyes tearing, I signed my life away to be the wife of the most dangerous and cruel mafia lord in town. I watched as the screen went black. This might be the last time I would see Francis. "You take her back to her room. You can ask the maids anything you want; they will provide it for you. It is party night for me." "Or would you like to go celebrate your marriage with me in the club?" With a look of disgust, I left the room and entered the elevator, the guard following me immediately. I heard Marco laughing like a monster.
