Scarlett POV Wednesday. I was glued to my desk, wrapping up the last bits of the day’s work, when a coworker popped her head in. “Hey Scarlett, are you coming down for dinner with us?” I smiled politely. “Can’t tonight. Still buried in this.” “You cook? Or got someone at home doing it for you?” she teased. “Single life’s rough, huh?” another one chimed in with fake sympathy.
